Accepting your admission offer

International students
By formally accepting your admission offer from Leiden University you are confirming your intention to join the study programme. Note that this only applies to international students, e.g. students with a non-Dutch passport.

You can do so by printing out your ‘Acceptance of admission offer’, completing and signing it, and returning it to your International Programmes Officer as scanned email attachment, within two weeks of receiving the offer. Please make sure you sign the document rather than simply typing your name.

If you are unable to accept the offer

Please also let us know if you wish to decline our offer of admission. This will ensure that you do not receive unnecessary correspondence from the university. If you need more time to make up your mind, please check whether this is possible with your International Programmes Officer. If we do not hear from you before the visa and housing deadlines expire, we will assume that you do not wish to join the programme and your application will be deactivated.
